A wee reminder that Peter Price will be joining us at the Inn on 30th September for a special guitar workshop ahead of his concert at Glenuig Hall the following night. 🎸

A rare opportunity to spend an evening learning from an internationally renowned guitarist, and the workshop is open to all ages and abilities.

Peter Price is a guitarist and singer with a brilliant international reputation, following a musical career which has so far taken him to festivals and concert venues throughout the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand.

A gifted performer, his concerts and performances take the listener on strange and exotic journeys from the folk & country blues style of Robert Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, and Leadbelly, to Latin American dances , Celtic Pipe and Harp tunes, Hymns and Indian Ragas.

What an excellent night we enjoyed with RANT on Saturday in partnership with Blas Festival!

Brilliant, virtuosic music from these wonderfully talented musicians with fantastic chat and stories made for a brilliant atmosphere and a very happy audience.

It may have been an unplugged performance but the energy in the hall was truly electric ⚡

We're very excited to welcome Scottish chamber-folk quartet RANT to Glenuig this Saturday 5th September, in partnership with Blas Festival.

We're especially delighted that this will be a special “unplugged” concert, using the excellent acoustics of our beautiful Hall, in a celebration of the instrument that these four outstanding musicians all have a passion for. ❤️

With the release of their 5th album ‘Live in Glasgow’, RANT remain at the forefront of the Scottish fiddle scene in a meeting of four of Scotland’ s finest fiddle players, two from the Black Isle, one from Shetland and one from the Isle of Arran.

Bethany Reid, Lauren MacColl, Anna Massie and Gillian Frame join forces to create a sound which is both rich and lush yet retaining all the bite and spark synonymous with Scottish fiddle playing. Using just their fiddles, they weave a rich layered tapestry of melodies, textures, layers and harmonies.

This special “unplugged” concert, using the excellent acoustics of our beautiful Glenuig Hall will be a celebration of the instrument they all have a passion for. 🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻
