Like most grassroots football clubs and organisations, we’re not sat on a secret football island counting cash. The reality is that delivering large-scale tournaments comes with significant costs:

🏆 Trophies & medals
👨⚖️ Qualified referees
🚑 Insurance
🚐 Transport & equipment
📱 Fixtures systems & administration
👥 Event staff
📢 Marketing
📄 VAT & taxes
And on top of that, every year hundreds of players earn a FREE place at our National Finals after qualifying through the regional heats.
Could you spend £15 elsewhere? Absolutely.
But for many players it’s also:

✅ New friendships
✅ Playing teams from across the UK
✅ Testing themselves against different opposition
✅ Memories that last long after the final whistle
One Tournament won’t be for everyone, and that’s okay.
But for the 4,000+ players who take part each year, and the hundreds who go on to experience National Finals weekend, we think it’s pretty good value.
Football isn’t just about winning trophies.
It’s about experiences, friendships, challenges, road trips, team talks, penalty shootouts, nervous butterflies, proud parents, and moments players remember for years to come.
