WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
True Butterflies Foundation is looking for compassionate, dependable mentors to support people affected by domestic abuse and trauma.
We are also looking for Male mentors who are currently underrepresented within our mentoring team, and some people would benefit greatly from having a safe, consistent and positive male role model.
You do not need to have all the answers—what matters most is patience, empathy, reliability and a genuine desire to help people rebuild their confidence after the trauma of domesticd abuse.
Mentors may support people through:
• One-to-one mentoring
• Confidence and resilience activities
• Emotional wellbeing support
• Creative and interest-based sessions
• Positive communication and relationship-building
• Metamorphosis, our trauma-informed education provision
We provide training, supervision and ongoing support. Successful applicants will be required to complete safeguarding checks, references and an enhanced DBS check.

WE WANT TO SAY A HUGE THANK YOU FROM TRUE BUTTERFLIES!

What an incredible weekend we had at CMA – Mayhem at the Manor!

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our biggest fundraiser of the year so special — our wonderful volunteers, performers, cosplayers, traders, special guests, supporters, Enys Gardens and, of course, every person and family who came along.

Your support means so much to us. True Butterflies Foundation helps children, young people and families rebuild their lives after domestic abuse and trauma through mentoring, counselling, family support and our Metamorphosis Academy.

Although the event has finished, you can still help us continue this vital work. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us provide safe, trauma-informed support to families when they need it most.

£5 can help provide therapeutic resources
£10 can help cover travel and outreach costs
Larger donations can help fund mentoring and therapeutic support sessions
