We are delighted to see we have paddlers coming over from USA, various countries in Europe, not to mention UK and Ireland of course!
Has your 2026 season kicked off yet? As the sun warms up, minds turn to training and hopefully you now have an event or two under your belt in 2026 already.
We'll be bringing you a series of reports and tips from the lovely Andy Burrows who authors the book 'Improving your Stand Up Paddleboarding' - having done the Great Glen Paddle Challenge in 2025, he is well placed to give you some hints and tricks on how to maximise your training ahead of the event.

This is just one of the many reasons we choose Fort Augustus as our base for the Great Glen Paddle Challenge.
Oh and it’s central! Just in case the wind changes direction…

The beautiful village of Fort Augustus recently featured as The Daily Record's Village of the Week!

The accolade was received for the incredible history and heritage of the Caledonian Canal, brought to life by the Caledonian Canal Centre; for the spectacular views out to Loch Ness and the daily Cruise Loch Ness sailings; and for a fish and chip shop recently named the best 'newcomer' in the UK, Monster fish and chip co ltd Loch Ness.
