That you so much to everyone who came along, enjoyed the daytime, the parade and the fireworks. We do this for Ellon and community, and it’s always a brilliant day.

Morning! Setup for the Ellon day and Craft Fayre at the Kirk Centre is well under way.

Anyone know who owns this car? It’s staring in the event mainly for being parked in a closed car park lol. Now surrounded by stalls and elves!

Great news!!!! The red suit is coming to town on Saturday, so come down, bring your letters and meet the main man himself SANTA!!

Every letter gets a reply, there may even be a small prezzie from his Elves too, if you’re in the good list….

The countdown has begun! It’s nearly Christmas Lights Switch On!!!!!! Come and join us!
*please note the parade will set off at 4:30pm led by Ellon pipe Band and culminating with the fireworks. It should all be finished by around 5:15pm*

Call all talented entertainers, we are looking for anyone who could amuse or entertain the good folk of Ellon for a while during the day of the Ellon Light Switch-on event. Think you could make us laugh, make fine music or impress through dance? Maybe a little poetry reading, small performance of some a play or Shakespeare? We'd love to hear from you all :-)
