Burning Bulb Theatre is a company established by two Royal Holloway drama students, Andy Walsh and Hayley Dawson, both hailing from Cornwall. Nick Darke born Nicholas Temperley Watson Darke (29 August 1948 – 10 June 2005) was an Cornish playwright and writer, poet, lobster fisherman, environmentalist, beachcomber, politician, broadcaster, film-maker and chairman of St Eval Parish Council. e, the 10th anniversary of Darke's death, Burning Bulb Theatre are honouring his work by presented a selection of scenes from some of his best known plays. The Beachcomber will be performed June 2nd, 3rd and 4th in Jane Holloway Hall as part of the Royal Holloway Play! Festival.
