We leave a much broader scene than when we entered. That gives a great choice of events and things to do all around. The vanlife scene is on the march and that is amazing as more people enjoy the great outdoors. Our first passion though was always the dubs and we hope the scene continues to stay strong......KEEP ON DUBBIN' 🤙😎😍

After 17 incredible years, we’ve made the very difficult decision that VolksPower will no longer be going ahead.

This decision has not been taken lightly and required both head and heart consideration. It has been a very hard decision for the whole family from a heart perspective, but ultimately the current economic position of the event means that to carry on puts too much risk on us. While our passion for VolksPower remains, we have had to make a responsible decision for the future.

The event has been an amazing journey from the very beginning, and none of it would have been possible without the unwavering support of our traders, customers, friends, and the wider community. Your passion, loyalty, and enthusiasm have made VolksPower what it was, and we are truly grateful to every single person who has paid their dues and been a been part of it over the past 17 years.

We would like to say a massive thank you to the North East VW Club for their exceptional support over the years and their amazing fundraising efforts. The charity aspect of the weekend has always been something we were incredibly proud of, and knowing it genuinely made a difference to children’s lives is one of VolksPower’s greatest achievements.

To all of the teams we have worked with over the years, we want to thank you for the quality of service you provided, the full support you always gave us and the friendships that were made. Our designer in chief, Mal Pye, also deserves recognition for his design work which always gave us a great frontage.

It has also been an absolute pleasure to bring you the very best in entertainment and music, with some truly amazing bands and acts joining us along the way and helping to create the atmosphere that made VolksPower so special.

To all those who displayed their cars, vans and bikes on our show field over the years — we salute you. You were always the stars of the show.

While this chapter closes, we’re sure we’ll still catch up with many of you in fields along the way, and rest assured — we’ll keep on dubbin’!

We are open for trade applications so get in touch if you fancy trading. A single pitch with 6m frontage costs just £110 and includes two weekend camping tickets with trading from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July. Double pitches or larger are available. PLI is required. Drop us a dm to register your interest.

Volkspower update -

Edit - many thanks to everyone who has made suggestions. We are making a shortlist of venues that could realistically accommodate us and will make contact with them. We’re really hopeful of finding a venue that will allow Volkspower to continue.

We had a great Volkspower 2025 and we’re really looking forward to 2026. Regrettably though we have not been able to agree a deal with the Rugby Club and will not be returning next year. We won’t be commenting further on that.

We are then in a position where we have, as we see it, two options -

1. we hang up our boots as event organisers and enjoy the time benefit that will bring or
2. we find a new venue and go again - this is our preferred route and we are asking for your help - if anybody knows of any decent venues where we might be able to do our thing then let us know by a dm and we will check them out. We will only take a venue if it is right for us and lets us present Volkspower to the same standard we had at Redcar. Any venue needs to be north east based ideally though we can venture into North Yorkshire or the Dales as well.

Any help offered will be hugely appreciated.

We’re ready for the new adventure……whatever and wherever it may be 🤙😎
