Huge shout out to this man!
This is Daren, owner of Custom Shows & Events, the organisation that brings you Driffield Steam Fair, TRUCK It Show and Driffield Steam Fair, every year, at Driffield Showground.
We have known and worked with Daren for many years, and it's our privilege to be invited, year after year, to cover the social media for all the events Custom Shows Events LTD hold in Driffield.
As the wonderful people at Great Driffield Radio will, we think, agree; Custom Shows Events LTD brings a huge amount of business into Driffield itself, not least on the Saturday of the 2-day Driffield Steam Fair, when the Tractor Run (with steam engines and all manner of other vehicles included) makes its way into the centre of the town.
Whilst Daren has a great team around him, the overall organisation of, and responsibility for, all of the above shows is with Daren, and Daren alone. Fact.
We don't know how he does it, to be honest!
So a huge shout out to Daren. Thanks for the great shows that you and your team have once again brought to Driffield in 2026, and here's to 2027!
