Rooksfest update!!

So in case you may be under any fear, this event is still absolutely going ahead!

I've been doing a lot of the background things to ensure it CAN go ahead, and thankfully these have now been done.

This event is going to be a celebration of some of the folklore from the Doncaster area and we're expecting there to be a book launch from the amazing local author Craig Hallam!

Overview of events we have scheduled for the next three months and 'slightly' beyond!

It's the busy season and we're not going against the trend, so see below all we have scheduled!

Saturday 30th May- Artist Exhibition- KK I'm Painting at The Three Cranes. Kerrie will be exhibiting her work, it's a chance to meet her and also meet some like-minded individuals in a safe space. There's also a raffle!

Wednesday 17th June- Spellcraft Workshop- Make and keep your own Protection Charm Jar. Won't let me tag the event, but this is taking place at The Three Cranes from 7pm-9pm. Tickets available from The Three Cranes - Rotherham.

Sunday 28th June- The Rook's Den- Anniversary Edition! 28 June 26. This is our anniversary edition of The Rook's Den in Doncaster, very excited for this.

Saturday 18th July- The Rook's Den- Sheffield- 18/7/26. At Kelham Bazaar and Dusk, we're having our first foray into Sheffield at this absolutely amazingly creepy and unique venue.

Saturday 1st August- Rooksfest 2026- At Corn Exchange in Doncaster, we're having a mini festival. Live music, talks, a licensed bar,walk around entertainment, a celebration of the folklore and spooky history of Doncaster and a chance to meet some amazing traders.

Saturday 15th August- The Rook's Den- 15th August At The Three Cranes in Rotherham, we're back and potentially having a bit more of a pride theme due to there being no Rotherham Pride this year. More details to follow.

Very, very busy but I love it! Who's looking forward to a summer of spooky and witchery vibes? :D

The next mini-event we are hosting!

We'll be at the wondeful The Three Cranes - Rotherham with KK I’m painting who will be exhibiting some of her amazing work! On Saturday 30th May from 12-3pm.

She will have various of her adorable Dragon's Eye paintings, various goth/geek/witch inspired painting work and is raffling off a large version of her Dragon's Eye paintings.

This is also a chance to meet Kerrie who will be available to sign some of her artwork and will also be taking commissions.

Also, like all Rook's Den events, it's a safe space for you to come along, be yourself and meet some like-minded individuals. If you want to, that is. You can simply turn up, peruse Kerrie's artwork then go home.

Tuesday 20th May- Intro to Tarot Workshop at The Three Cranes, 7pm-9pm.

Saturday 30th May- Artist Exhibition-KK I'm painting at The Three Cranes. 12pm-3pm.

Sunday 28th June- The Rook's Den Anniversary Edition, Parklands Sports and Social Club, 4pm-9pm.

Hey all

Thank you to all traders and customers who participated in the raffle for the British Heart Foundation.

As some of you know, a friend of mine recently died suddenly due to a heart attack and so I felt I had to do something.

You all supported and took part anf we raised £100 for the British Heart Foundation!

An amazing achievement and will go some of the way to funding research and support.
