196,000 visitors came through farm gates this year as part of Open Farm Sunday this year. More importantly, many were connecting with farming in a way they never had before.

🌱 64% had never attended Open Farm Sunday before
🚜 15% were stepping onto a working farm for the very first time
⭐ 98% left rating their experience as good or excellent

Every first visit is an opportunity to spark curiosity, challenge perceptions and build a deeper understanding of farming. Together, these experiences are creating thousands of new conversations and stronger connections between farmers and the public.

British food has a great story to tell, but often, people don't get to hear it.

80% of Open Farm Sunday hosts say promoting British produce is a key reason they take part, while 81% want to improve understanding of sustainable farming practices.

This , we're celebrating the farmers opening their gates, starting conversations, and helping people see first-hand how quality food can be produced in harmony with nature. At the heart of LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming)'s work is Integrated Farm Management (IFM), a whole-farm approach that helps farmers farm more sustainably and provides the foundation for LEAF Marque certification.
