How many people does it take to organise a festival?

Well, one of them is definitely Darren James!

With over 30 years in the live events industry, Darren has spent decades behind the decks, behind the microphone, and behind the scenes making events happen.

A former Euphoria Club DJ and current radio broadcaster, he knows exactly what it takes to create an atmosphere and keep a crowd entertained. His reputation, connections, and experience help Lockdown deliver maximum impact and exposure for every event we put on.

Whether he's promoting the event, supporting artists, or making sure everything looks and sounds great, Darren's passion for live music and events shines through in everything he does.

DavFest simply wouldn't be the same without him!

Ever wondered who makes the magic happen behind the scenes?

Meet Tom Silk. Our technical mastermind helping turn DavFest from a great idea into a reality. With nearly 20 years of experience in the live events and entertainment industry, Tom has worked on everything from intimate events to festivals welcoming 20,000 people, as well as full-scale touring productions.

Tom specialises in taking ambitious ideas and making them happen. If someone says, “That sounds impossible,” Tom is usually already figuring out how to make it work. Combining years of hands-on experience with the meticulous planning and organisation developed through Lockdown Events, he has played a huge part in shaping DavFest into the festival it is today.

From powering the production behind the scenes to solving problems before most people even know they exist, Tom is the reason so much of the festival runs smoothly. His expertise, creativity, and passion for bringing unique projects to life make him an invaluable part of the DavFest team and one of the people responsible for turning festival dreams into reality.
