Cwmbran Centre for Young People (‘CCYP’) is a friendly and welcoming ‘Training Facility and Drop in Centre’ for young people. We offer a wide range of training, services and activities to support young people to develop life skills and gain qualifications. CCYP particularly supports Young People who are unemployed, living alone or homeless, alcohol/drug dependent, young parents, carers or offender

When planning delivery of our Youth Work provision, we follow the seven core aims for children and young people provided by the Welsh Government adopted from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). We also ensure our provision is based upon the Five Pillars of Youth Work in Wales. (Provide learning opportunities that are Educative, Expressive, Participative, Inclusive and Empowering).
