Already hailed as an "R&B Powerhouse" by the BBC, APW is a dynamic songwriter and vocalist with a stratospheric range and razor-sharp lyrical honesty. Having previously graced the stage at The Jazz Café and supported Jamie Woon, they are bringing their signature sound to BOXPARK this August.

Expect a dreamy, undeniable blend of smooth R&B, pop, and soul wrapped in lush harmonies, jazzy guitar melodies, and grooving basslines. Don't miss it!

Croydon Pride Parade 2026: Registrations are open!

It has never been so important to be visible in our community.

The time to stand together is now!

Get ready to take to the streets, march, dance, and celebrate love, diversity, and community at this year’s Croydon Pride Parade on Saturday 15 August. Whether you are marching solo, uniting with friends, or representing an organisation, we need your presence, your passion, and your voice.

Let’s fill the streets with pride, make ourselves heard, and remind the world that we deserve equal rights. Sign up, show up, and let's march!

THE SCHEDULE
11:00 AM | Registration Opens: Meet us outside Marks & Spencer on North End, Croydon. Get warmed up with incredible live music provided by the fantastic Pengenista Drummers!
11:30 AM | Parade Starts: We set off sharp at 11:30 AM, so don't be late!

POST-PARADE CELEBRATIONS
Community Stalls & Acoustic Stage (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Head inside Braithwaite Hall (at the Town Hall) to explore community stalls and enjoy brilliant acoustic singers throughout the day.
(Open from 11:00 AM): Keep the party going! Entry to BOXPARK is free, but you must register for a ticket in advance. 🎟️

⚠️ IMPORTANT PARADE INFO
Registration is MANDATORY: You must register to take part in the parade march. Registration closes on Friday 14 August at midday.

Who can join? Everyone! Come on your own, bring your friends, or register your charity, business, or community organisation to march as a group.
What to bring: Your most fabulous self, your brightest flags, and your loudest banners! 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈
What to wear: Comfortable footwear for walking and clothes appropriate for the British weather (don't forget your SPF!).
Accessibility: The entire parade route is fully step-free to ensure Pride is inclusive for everyone.
Safety first: The route will be fully stewarded to ensure a safe, fun, and happy environment for all.

WE’RE HIRING: Communications & Marketing Trustee! ✨

Are you a TikTok pro, Insta guru, Mailchimp wizard, or marketing strategist (or willing to learn) who wants to give back to South London’s LGBTQIA+ community, this one could be for you.

We’re looking for a creative, passionate storyteller to join our Board and lead our external voice!

The Details:
Commitment: Approx. 3–5 hours per week (flexible/remote, with higher intensity in the run-up to the summer festival).
The Role: Shape our digital strategy, create inclusive multimedia content, and run major campaigns for our flagship festival and year-round events.

We value lived experience and a passion for inclusivity just as much as professional backgrounds. Ready to make a real impact?

Ever wondered who’s behind the scenes making Croydon Pride happen?

Here’s the truth: There are no corporate offices or payrolls here. Croydon Pride is a registered charity run 100% by a small board of Trustees and a dedicated team of volunteers who are all unpaid.

By day, our team is made up of people working across various sectors. By night (and every weekend!), they are the event planners, fundraisers, and logistics experts working to bring you community events all year round, culminating in our world-class celebration in the heart of Croydon.

But the Trustees aren't alone—we are supported by an incredible group of year-round volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes. From helping with admin to supporting our local events, these community heroes are the extra fuel that keeps the charity thriving.

Why do we do it? Because we believe the LGBTQIA+ community in Croydon deserves a space to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Every email we answer, every event we host, and every stage plan we draw up is done in our ‘spare’ time, around full-time jobs, families, and life.

The goal is simple: Whether it’s our year-round programming or the big day on Saturday 15 August at , it is all for YOU.
