✨ One month on, and the buzz around the Croydon Food & Music Festival is still going strong!

On 31 August, South Croydon’s Restaurant Quarter was transformed into an open-air celebration of food, music and community spirit — drawing around 9,500 visitors from across the borough and beyond.

🍴 With 45 stalls offering flavours from every corner of the globe, festival-goers enjoyed a true taste of Croydon’s diversity.
🎶 Live performances from local artists — from Singology Choir’s high-energy opening to DJ SK & DJ Shaq D’s closing set — kept the crowds dancing all day.
🌟 Entertainment from stilt walkers to circus acts added even more joy to the atmosphere.

We’re proud to have helped deliver such a special day with the South Croydon Business Association, supported by the Executive Mayor of Croydon, Jason Perry, Festival Fund and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

🎉 We’re excited to welcome London South Bank University (LSBU) as an Associate Partner of this year’s Croydon Food & Music Festival!

LSBU Croydon plays a vital role in the heart of our community, and we’re thrilled to have them join us to celebrate local culture, talent, and togetherness.

Gulnara Otten, Croydon Campus Director, London South Bank University (LSBU), said:

"London South Bank University (LSBU) is proud to support this significant local event, which showcases the Croydon community’s talents and cultural diversity through its rich and varied cuisines.

At LSBU Croydon, we are dedicated to being an active part of the borough’s vibrant life. Events like this are a fantastic way to get involved, meet residents, including our students and their families, and support Croydon’s evolving future.

This year, we’re excited to host a stall at the festival and bring along our student-led chiropractic clinic, giving local communities the chance to learn more about the clinic as well as our wider range of health and social care courses.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with residents, share our expertise, and show the positive impact our students are making in the community. We hope to see you there! It’s going to be a fun and inspiring day out."
