🎉 Looking to get involved in a fantastic community event this summer? 🎉

Whether you’re part of a local organisation, community group, charity, sports club, or simply would like to volunteer as an individual, we’d love to hear from you!

Volunteer at Betley’s Big Weekend and help make this year’s event a huge success. We’re especially looking for Entrance Team members, with flexible 3-hour shifts available across the weekend, along with a variety of other volunteer roles.

Join us for one shift, one day, or the whole weekend — it’s completely up to you!

All volunteers receive:
✨ An access wristband for all 3 events across the weekend, including Betley Show
✨ A £10 refreshment voucher for each day volunteered
✨ Organisations and community groups may also have the opportunity to apply for funding support*

Get creative this half term and build your very own scarecrow for this year’s Betley Show Scarecrow Competition!

This year’s theme is… ✨ Nursery Rhymes ✨
So whether it’s Humpty Dumpty, Little Bo Peep, Hey Di**le Di**le or your favourite nursery rhyme character, we can’t wait to see your creations displayed around the village! 🐄🌙🥚

🏆 Two Classes:
👧 11 & Under
🌟 Open Class

💷 Prize Money in EACH class:
🥇 1st Prize – £50
🥈 2nd Prize – £30
🥉 3rd Prize – £20

📍 Open to residents of Betley, Balterley & Wrinehill

📸 Scarecrows must be on display by noon on Thursday 23rd July for photographs
