Congratulations to Ryan Duffy on his promotion to Conference Manager at Warwick Conferences.

Ryan recently shared:
"I began my journey with Warwick Conferences in 2015, working night shifts in the restaurant through Unitemps. Since then, I’ve progressed through a variety of roles including Night Supervisor, Conference Assistant, Conference Team Leader, Senior Conference Assistant and Assistant Manager.

I’m delighted to be starting my new role as Conference Manager. Having gained extensive experience across business, I’m passionate about using that knowledge to strengthen, support and empower our team as we continue to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests."

We are incredibly proud of Ryan's journey and achievements over the past 11 years. His dedication, hard work and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences have made a real impact across Warwick Conferences.

Driving innovation together 🚗

We were delighted to collaborate with Tata Motors on our latest campaign for The Slate. Featuring the Tata Curvv, one of only three in the UK, the campaign brought together cutting edge design and a vehicle with strong Warwick roots, having had its original concept developed at the University of Warwick.

It's a great example of the University's close links with industry and innovation, while also demonstrating how The Slate provides a distinctive backdrop for modern events, launches and brand experiences.

We are pleased to announce that Leanda Nagle has been appointed Front of House Manager at Warwick Conferences.

Having started her career with Warwick Conferences in 2001, Leanda has dedicated more than two decades to delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting our Front of House operations. Her journey reflects the opportunities for growth and development within the organisation, progressing from Receptionist to Head Receptionist, Duty Manager and Front of House Assistant Manager.

Leanda said:
"I started my journey with Warwick Conferences at Arden in 2001 as a Receptionist.
Since then, I've had the opportunity to progress through a number of roles, including Head Receptionist and Duty Manager, before moving to Scarman as Front of House Assistant Manager.
I am thrilled to be stepping into the role of Front of House Manager. Having been part of the Warwick Conferences family for many years, I'm looking forward to leading our fantastic team and continuing to create exceptional experiences for every guest who visits us."

We are delighted to announce that Aarti Barnacle has been appointed Front of House Manager at Warwick Conferences.

Having been part of the University of Warwick for almost 26 years, Aarti's career journey is a wonderful example of dedication, progression and commitment to exceptional customer service.

Aarti said:
"I am incredibly pleased to have been appointed Front of House Manager. Having been part of Warwick for almost 26 years, I am proud to have developed my career within such a great organisation.

Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience across several departments, progressing from Housekeeping and Restaurant Supervision to spending 16 years as Food & Beverage Assistant Manager. After a career break to raise my children, I returned to Warwick Conferences as a Receptionist and later progressed to Front of House Assistant Manager.

I am passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating positive guest experiences. I believe it is the attention to detail, personal approach and willingness to go the extra mile that truly make a difference.

My colleagues are a key part of what makes my role so rewarding. I look forward to continuing to support the team and contributing to the success of the Front of House team and Warwick Conferences as a whole."

A remarkable achievement for one of our rising stars 🌟

After winning the IACC Junior UK Copper Skillet Champion 2026 title, Eden Bratt represented the UK at the European Copper Skillet Final in Germany, where she secured an impressive second-place finish against some of Europe's most talented young chefs.

Having joined Warwick following a work experience placement at Birmingham College of Food, Eden has become a valued member of our team. Her achievements reflect both her passion for food and her commitment to developing her skills, and we couldn't be prouder of her success.
