Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting Sustainability at Warwick Conference at Scarman. It was an incredible event launching the University of Warwick’s refreshed Environmental Sustainability Strategy.

As sustainability remains a key pillar at Warwick Conferences, we were proud to host and be a part of the University's new strategy as we work to drive meaningful change across our campus and beyond.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Sustainability at Warwick's Environmental Sustainability Conference, and we’d like to give a special mention to Justine Meek, a Business Development Manager at Warwick Conferences.

As part of the conference, Justine chaired an inspiring panel discussion about Sustainability Leadership. There, she engaged with leaders across our departments from Operations to Warwick Students' Union, exploring how they champion sustainability and embed it into decision-making, daily practice, and long-term strategy.

We are proud to have Justine as part of our team and our Sustainability Committee.

We were delighted to visit one of our local suppliers today for a special project. Take a look behind the scenes!

Blackdown Growers is just a stone’s throw away and produces delicious salads and herbs that we serve in our restaurants. It was so insightful to see how they grow and pack the babyleaf salad which we enjoy in Warwick Conferences.

Thank you to the team at Blackdown Growers, including Megan Saville, Dale Cox, and Beaumont's Mike Evans for the visit.

Great to get together yesterday to celebrate Tim Egginton’s retirement after 35 years with us.

Tim has made a huge contribution to Warwick Conferences and the University over the years and it was nice to mark the occasion with colleagues and friends.

Delivering memorable events is always a team effort — and feedback like this means so much to everyone involved at Warwick Conferences.

“We had a very successful event – thanks to your guidance and assistance, Kayleigh and Michelle and the excellent facilities at Warwick Conferences (the University of Warwick). Our grateful thanks go to all the catering, front of house, domestic, bar, cleaning and facilities staff, who were attentive, polite, helpful and efficient. Everyone left with great impressions, especially the students who appreciated the inclusive access to the sports facilities. Please also thank Kevin and his colleagues for facilitating the recording truck – it was a phenomenal hit with everyone. We will be straight on to you for future events and will recommend UoW to our sister organisations.”
