Just a reminder that you still have until midnight tomorrow night (Tues 28th) to apply for the Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 'Visual Album' Commission.

The project will commission 15 musicians and visual artists based in CV postcodes to create a new visual album, combining new music with original video.

Applicants can submit either a written or a video application. Video applications can be in English or British Sign Language.

In partnership with Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 and Belgrade Theatre, Coventry we are delighted to present 'Shut Down but Scratching'

As we find ourselves in deeply challenging times, now more than ever emerging artists need support. The doors to the creative industry have been slammed shut and with that, almost all of the opportunities to make new work.

This is our rapid response to support local emerging artists in the current crisis.

We are on the lookout for local makers to respond to the theme 'imagine' and create a short performance or piece of visual/digital art which will be platformed online on Wednesday 15th April from wherever they are in isolation.

We can offer you:
- £200 micro-commission
- Creative support and mentoring
- A spot on our digital scratch night

Applications are OPEN and close on Monday 6th April, 10am.
