A huge thank you to the crew who were super professional, patient and an overall joy, adding to the already outstanding experience we had

We made a lot of new friends from our short time hanging out at the festival, and it was an honour to play for you all

Sellsword TO RELEASE THIRD ALBUM,
…WITH MIGHT AND VENGEANCE

Today, Sellsword can finally officially announce that the third album, entitled …With Might and Vengeance, will be released on the 31st of July 2026!

…With Might and Vengeance is over an hour of pure Sellsword siegery of the highest order, with songs about bravery and defiance in the face of impossible odds, travelling from Roman Britain to medieval Scotland via an unsettling realm of sinister deities, the feasting tables of Valhalla, and *checks notes* mercenaries vs. vampires?! Oh, and there’s also a song about a massive trebuchet…

The tracklist for this long-awaited release is as follows:

The next single from …With Might and Vengeance, joining the previously released Saxon Steel and New Gods, will be Mighty Mercenaries. The release date for this will be announced soon!

The epic and striking artwork is provided once again by Drake Mefestta, this time alongside Elizabeth Mefestta, who together created a piece that perfectly evokes the dark but epic and heroic tone of the album.

Pre-orders for the digital copy, digipak CD, and various merchandise bundles will go live on Monday. There will also be a crowdfunder style pre-order for a beautiful limited double heavyweight blood orange vinyl version!

So there you have it, mercenaries! Excited? We know we are!

We like to take the opportunity where we can to promote smaller bands that we feel everyone should be listening to more, but who are still just starting out. When we received an application from Ahreman’s management for this one we knew they were going to meet exactly this criteria. Their music is cold, uncompromising and deeply immersive, with a talent for creating soundscapes that pulls the audience fully into their world. We’re pleased to be able to welcome the band to OFS26 to open the event.
