ROSTREVOR — The Fiddler’s Green International Festival is back in Rostrevor this 15–19 July, and the 2026 lineup is shaping up to be one of our best yet.
We are delighted to announce that this year’s Hall of Fame award is going to the brilliant Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh. Whether she’s singing in Irish or playing the flute, Muireann has a way of stopping a room mid-breath. She’s been a massive part of the folk scene for years, and we can’t wait to celebrate her.
Festival President Tommy Sands says: "Friends old and new, and some friends that we never knew will be treading the many stages of Fiddlers Green Festival Rostrevor 2026. Great to welcome back amongst the many, Luka Bloom, Lunasa and Muireann from Danú now with a brand new line-up and a mighty humorous songwriting Protestant Minister, the whole way from Germany called Clemens Bittelinge. And that's just scraping the surface."
The village will be packed with talent all week. We’ve got the powerhouse trad of Lúnasa and the set from The Sands Family. Luka Bloom will be bringing his incredible songs and guitar style to the stage, as well as the unmistakable voice of Daoirí Farrell and Scullian. The programme is rounded out by musicians like flute player Eimear McGeown, Rostrevor-born singer songwriter Matthew Benson, and harpist Laoise Kelly.
But the real magic is in the atmosphere. You’ll hear music pouring onto the street from every single door as the legendary pub sessions take over the village. It’s a full community affair—you can drop into the Environmental Hub, join a Yoga class, or head out on a Nature Walk. Our Open Air Stage will be running all week with family entertainment and Céili dances, and of course, the Duck Derby is back for some craic.
Between the "Music of Healing" and the tunes echoing through the streets, there’s nowhere else you’d want to be this July.
