Join us as we wander from Wadswick towards Chapel Plaister, Hazelbury Common and Manor, exploring fields, woodland edges and beautiful limestone grassland packed with flora and fauna. 🌳🌸

Along the route, an expert guide will help you discover the hidden wildlife all around us — the sort of things most of us normally walk past while arguing with our sandwiches or checking whether we packed enough snacks. 🥪😂

Expect:

Introducing WALK SUN6 — Batheaston: A Suffragettes Refuge 🟣🟢⚪
Sunday 14th June 2026

Join a local historian as we uncover the story of Eagle House — once a place of rest and recovery for suffragettes who had endured imprisonment and force-feeding in their fight for equality. 💜

And because even fearless campaigners appreciated a peaceful stroll, we’ll also wander through the beautiful St Catherine’s Valley, proving that Batheaston still knows how to calm the soul and restore the spirit. 🌳☀️

Join photographer Robert Auckland for a relaxed stroll around some of Corsham’s most photogenic spots — where beautiful scenery, historic buildings and suspiciously enthusiastic camera owners combine into one glorious day out 😄

(No, not your missing car keys… although we can’t promise those won’t turn up too…)

Join us for a walk that’s part countryside adventure, part history lesson, and part “HOW did we not know this was here?!” 🤯

🚶‍♂️ Hidden Quarries of Box Hill takes you along ancient tramways (no tickets required), through Hazelbury Manor and Box Woods, and into the fascinating world of quarrying, industry, and a few military secrets thrown in for good measure… 🏰⚒️

✨ Stunning views over the By Brook Valley
🌳 Proper “get away from it all” woodland vibes
📚 Stories that will make you sound very knowledgeable in the pub afterwards

Introducing SUN3 – River and Meadow Meandering… THEN AN ICE CREAM!

Yes, you read that correctly. This is not just a walk… this is a strategically planned journey that just so happens to end with luxury gelato. Whoever designed this clearly understands motivation. 👏

🌿 Start off all wholesome and outdoorsy as you meander along the River Avon
🌉 Casually cross water meadows like you’re in a period drama
📍 Drop in at Redbridge and Bowden Park looking like seasoned explorers
🐄 Then… BAM… Lacock Dairy appears like a mirage of creamy goodness

At this point, all “we’re just here for the scenery” claims collapse faster than a flake in July. 🍦😄
