Thank you for entering the Cleethorpes AC New Year's Day 10K, we really hope you have a great race and get a PB!
Race numbers are to be collected at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre (DN35 0BY) on the morning of the race and will be available for collection from 08.30am. Your race number goes on the front of your running top. Please secure it with 4 pins so that it is clearly visible and ensure that you have completed the medical Information and emergency contact details on the reverse. The chip and race number should not be interfered with in any way.
TEAM PRIZES FOR AFFILATED UKA CLUBS - Club running vests are to be worn to be eligible for any team prizes, where a club has more than one registered vest, all team members must have the same design - (No club colours, No team prizes)
If you are displaying symptoms of Covid or have been informed to isolate by the NHS, then please do not attend the race. If you are ill or injured on race day, please do not turn up to the event.
On race morning, please be aware that there will be rolling road closures as the race start time of 10.00am approaches. We would ask that you allow yourself time to park, if you are travelling by car and get to the start of the race (which is on Kings Road Cleethorpes, DN35 0BY.)
The start is on Kings Road, diagonally opposite Cleethorpes Leisure Centre. The race starts at 10.00am. prompt.
There are plenty of car parks readily available, including:-
several along Kings Road Cleethorpes, DN35 0AQ;
Central Promenade DN35 8RQ;
St.Peters Avenue DN35 8HF;
High Street DN35 8JW

Please do not park on any of the roads on the race route, including Hardys Road and Chichester Road
There are plenty of toilet facilities available in Cleethorpes. that will be open from 8.00am onwards. These include those at the Kingsway Kiosk, Cleethorpes Pier and Cleethorpes Boating Lake. Additionally, toilet facilities will be available at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre. Please respect the local residents in this area and their property.
Unfortunately, there will be no changing facilities or a left luggage system in place this year.
As per UKA regulations, the wearing of headphones of any description including bone conduction headphones, or similar devices, (other than those medically prescribed), is not permitted in this race and any person wearing them will be disqualified
We respectfully ask runners not to leave any rubbish. If you decide to run with a drinks bottle or gels, please make sure you bring everything away with you that you take onto the course. Please don’t leave any rubbish.
We have road closures in place and a traffic management system will operate. Please do remember that you are on public roads and listen out for any advice or instructions from our race marshals.
Collection of t-shirts will be at the Finish area, immediately after the finish line. Please do not delay any longer than necessary at the finish area, as there will be other runners behind you.
If you entered the race on after 8th December 2024 your Tee Shirt will be posted to you by the end of January.
The awards will be given out to successful athletes as they finish where possible.
