A little piece of The Mill House’s history 🌾

The story of the site dates back to 1841, when Joseph Appleby founded a corn mill here. His family business, Joseph Appleby & Sons, were corn merchants and millers, producing flour and using the nearby Leeds & Liverpool Canal to transport their goods by a fleet of barges.

But the story doesn’t stop there...

The former mill later became home to the East Lancashire Soap Company, where soap was produced before the factory eventually closed.

Your evening includes an arrival drink, a two-course dinner and DJ entertainment from PC Roadshows, with the party continuing until midnight.
