Reflecting back on what an incredible weekend we shared last weekend at Run 4 Rosie 2026 - Running in the Summertime.

Some truly incredible distances, durations and efforts were witnessed.

👟 1800 miles covered
🏃‍♀️220 runners
👪65 miles covered in the children's mini marathons.
💰and an absolutely fantastic sum of £9300 raised for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation

We wholeheartedly thank each and everyone of you for coming along and joining in, walking, running, riding and cheering. The amazing helpers in the kitchen, co-ordinated wonderfully by Lorna d'Arch Smith - for the full 25 hours! Our volunteers on the aid station, the registration, the mini marathons, those signing the course, erecting the start lines and decorating the clubhouse. Those who were selling raffle tickets of the very generously donated prizes, working behind the bar, the superb musical performers and the clean up crew. The sponsors Trower Hamlins, Mrs H interiors for the medals and ducks, System Electrical for the lighting, the Recreational Trust for the venue and Chagford Runners for your involvement and support. And finally to the beauty of Chagford for the scenic Run 4 Rosie routes.

You all play a key part in making this very special tribute to Mum the incredible event it is - thank you.

Saturday night - party night!!

🎸🎵local artists inc Badger & Mole and live band - Firstborn - an alternative indie rock band formed by friends who grew up together, blending driving guitars with sharp, honest songwriting. Taking inspiration from Sam Fender and Wonderhorse, their sound sits somewhere between raw indie rock and melodic storytelling.

Wow that was fun!

Thank you all for coming and joining the Family Fun Colour Run on Sunday it was amazing to see so many people having such a good time!

Huge thank you to Fowlers Estate Agents for their kind sponsorship, to all our volunteers, Little Ghost Photography Dartmoor, Chagford Cricket Club, The Clubhouse and to you runners...of which there were over 200 of you taking part.

We raised a fantastic £1500 to split between Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and Cancer Research UK
