It’s all in the details — a small glimpse behind the scenes of creating a bespoke hat for my new S/S collection.

Saying “it’s all about the details” is easy enough, but what does that really mean? Hat-making isn’t just about the final result; it’s about everything that leads up to that moment. The initial idea, the careful choice of colours, sourcing the perfect materials — all of it matters. It’s the countless metres of thread, the many hours of work, the patience, love, and dedication poured in even when hands get tired and eyes begin to strain.

Only once the piece is fully assembled does everything fall into place and make sense. And in that final moment, seeing an idea come to life brings enormous happiness and deep satisfaction.
