1️⃣ DAY TO GO… TOMORROW WE THRIVE.

After months of planning, conversations, meetings, organising, changing plans, bringing people together and working behind the scenes…

Tomorrow, Together We Thrive becomes a reality.

On Sunday 9th August, we'll be welcoming our community to King George V Playing Field in Caister-on-Sea for a free day of connection, wellbeing, activities, support, entertainment and community.

More than 60 organisations, charities, community groups and local businesses will be joining us, alongside food vendors, activities and live performances throughout the day.

There will be something to discover for everyone.

Whether you're coming because you want to find support, discover something new, meet people, enjoy the activities, bring the family, or simply spend some time with your community, we'd love to see you there.

🟠THE TOGETHER WE THRIVE EVENT MAP

Tonight, the official Together We Thrive event page on the Lonely Llama website will be unlocked.

Once the page is unlocked, you'll be able to access the full event site map, showing where the organisations and activities are located around the field, along with the full list of organisations attending.

To find it:

Go to the Lonely Llama homepage and select "Together We Thrive".

Once the page is unlocked tonight, the event site map and full organisation list will be available to view before you arrive.

Parking has been organised with Great Yarmouth Borough Council.

In just two days, King George V Playing Field will be transformed into a space where our community comes together to connect, discover and thrive.

Over the past couple of weeks we've been introducing many of the incredible organisations joining us on Sunday, and today we're shining the spotlight on a few more of the fantastic groups you'll be able to meet.

In just three days, Together We Thrive 2026 will be bringing our community together for a fantastic day of connection, wellbeing and fun.

As well as more than 60 organisations, charities and community groups, we'll have a selection of fantastic local food vendors joining us throughout the day.

1️⃣0️⃣ DAYS TO GO… Meet more of the amazing organisations joining us at Together We Thrive

The countdown continues!

Last night we held our volunteer meeting at Rabbit Hutch Eat Project in Caister-on-Sea, and it was fantastic to bring everyone together ahead of the event.

It was great to meet some new faces, catch up with familiar ones, and talk through the plans for the day.

The photo shows just some of the amazing volunteers who will be helping make Together We Thrive happen. We're incredibly grateful to every volunteer giving their time to support the event, with even more of our team joining us on the day. We couldn't do it without you – thank you for helping make this community event possible.
