Ladies think we need a Beer evening again. As last year was such a success and eveyone had a good time (from what i remember), and I fixed the wall with the holes in. I was going to do a beers for winter, but in honour of the Oktoberfest think we need a Novemberfest (see what i did there). Any ideas for nights? Friday is usually good. Alice will be shipped out as usual.

Darts anyone?

I'll sort the sausage and schnitzel out everyone bring beers only present at the Oktoberfest.

A excellent idea by Mr Peter Cross a new member at W.L.D.C. He proposed we have a meeting where each attending member brings several beers that are either rare or unusual, the reason is not important, just has to be beer of fine quality. Fosters is banned from crossing the threshold! My house Friday 27th September. Now how do i make this so only members can see it! Let me know your availability i will provide a light finger buffet and possibly a nice single malt for the road.

Ahhhhhh the page has changed design and not sure what I am doing. It has been a while. I propose that we make our next meeting the beer festival at Embark, formerly the canal lounge in the wharf. Fancy the Saturday but gay bod brother wants to do the Sunday. On this occasion, and it is a first and probably a last partners will be allowed to attend the meeting!

(TO'C) Now that I have recovered my near death experience at the hands of Heineken and J D & Coke, it might be a good idea to squeeze another meeting in. It is my Birthday on 26th September and I think reaching 25 is still a milestone and it will be good to get out now the summer is coming to an end. So will the members join Mr Chairman on Friday the 24th September for after work, early evening drinks!!!

(TO'C) When will we be meeting next? ideas please, fancy a sporting event even if it is only local. Could watch the cricket in burscough one afternoon followed by walk down to ship. Me not on imported lager and wearing a cricket helmet.

(TO'C)Another succesful meeting! Mr Chairman thought he was pi**ed last time, but managed to get a nice gash on the back of his head on this occasion. Then walk home via the canal route from southport, 8.00am I landed.

(TO'C) It's on tomorrow night will be an official w.l.d.c night. Be there or be square. I'm out shopping first thing to Wigan so will not be out later than 12.00pm. Please confirm your attendance as catering manager needs to order the right number of bags of crisps.

(TO'C) As chairperson (facing the sack) think I will make a decision and opt for Friday being an unofficial w.l.d.c outting. If you are there then great but due to mixed responses and mixed messages and varying start, finish times it will go down as a pre-season friendly. Please can people come back with dates and ideas for the next meeting. Cheers!
