This will be Rolan's 1st appearance at the Gala concerts celebrating his father. Hurley's 1997 event for the Bolan 20th Anniversary celebrations took place over 3 sold-out nights at Fez ( drawing devoted fans like Michael Stipe & Larry Mullen) with the 2007 Concert a sold-out Glamathon outdoors at Delacorte Theatre, Central Park ( feat the likes of Patti Smith & Scissor Sisters) and he & Rogers have kept it an extended T.Rex Family Affair by once again reuniting the genius All-Star 'Bolan Bop' Band for this year's shows at City Winery, NYC. This NYC Concert is the longest running & biggest Bolan Celebration in the country. Hurley began these T.Rextasy extravaganzas honouring his childhood idol in 1990. Band members & guest artists (many performing unannounced) are traveling great distances,(incl Calif, UK, Ireland), to be a part of this 40th Anniverary, 70th Bolan Birthday celebration, excited to show their love of Bolan.
