Ladye join us for Episode 4 on Saturday 14th June!

Hailing from Bristol, the three piece have been busy the last few months working on new music with their next release due on the 19th. Drawing inspiration from Wolf Alice, The Cranberries and Alvvays, their sound is a fusion of nostalgic dream-pop that blends seamlessly into energetic shoegaze.

We are pleased to announce that Bubblegum Hypnosis will be joining us at Wrong Turn, Right Path Ep4 on Saturday 14th June at Exchange Bristol.

Fresh off the back of releasing their new album Through The Sands the band insistent upon experimentation and improvisation, Bubblegum Hypnosis’ music traverses the sonical landscape, carrying their listeners on an explosive journey of excitement and intensity. Sometimes dirty, sometimes clean; Sometimes reggae, sometimes mean - their music takes influence from a variety of artists, styles and sounds, whilst embodying the anything goes attitude of both prog and psych rock. Notable past shows include opening for Psychedelic P**n Crumpets, Acid Mothers Temple & Temples.

The Cardiff based four piece mix elements of slacker rock and post punk to deliver energetic live shows that captivate audiences wherever they go and have helped them draw attention from the likes of NME, Uncut Magazine and the Welsh Music Prize.

With chant-like vocals, shrieking guitar and punching drumbeats, Mellt are crowd anarchists. Citing influences from The Clash, The Band and The Replacements, with their catchy guitar riffs and a Mellt’s clever and intricate lyrics take them to the next level.

Our Basement headliners, M/X kick off their May tour with a hometown performance at WTRP Episode 3 on Saturday 17th May.

three-piece powerhouse known for their raw energy and chaotic live shows. Hailing from Bristol, England, the band’s visceral sound draws comparisons to the likes of IDLES, Soft Play and Kid Kapichi, with trashy rhythms, angsty guitars and socially charged lyrics that hit like a punch in the gut. Their explosive performances have landed them spots at festivals like 2000 Trees and Dot To Dot, as well as stages at iconic Bristol venues like Thekla and The Louisiana.

Fresh from the release of their debut-EP Splurge-Pop Bristol favourites Trans-Siberian Express join us at Exchange Bristol this weekend with plenty of new songs for you all.

With a sound made up of angular synths, heavy guitars and a chorus of vocals. Trans-Siberian Express combines an ensemble of influences into big performances and a sound only known now as Shwank Splurge pop. TSE have played vigorously and consistently around the city building a name for themselves amongst local audiences with recent highlights including a support slot for York legends Bull at Strange Brew

We’re very happy to finally have them at a Wrong Turn show and can’t wait to see what they have lined up for us. Make sure to give Splurge-Pop plenty of streams this week, familiarise yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

bludud bring their experimental art-rock sound to Wrong Turn on 17th May.

The band have started to make a name for themselves locally for their live performance which sees the 4-piece toy with electronic samples and live instrumentation, pulling from touch points such as; post-punk, alt-rock, folk and the more experimental side of electronic music.

The band are currently in the midst of writing and recording new singles with their DIY studio sound being brought to stage. On B2B with Hexcut, this is going to be a great start to Episode 3!

Dactyl Terra bring their psychedelic post-punk energy to Exchange Bristol on Saturday 17th May.

Emerging deep from ancient rock formations found in the South Wales Valleys, experimental space-groove and psychedelic rockers Dactyl Terra offer laser beam boogaloo for the celestial earthlings. Underpinned by a well-oiled rhythm section, infectious space rock synths and cosmic melodies, they invite us to surf the interstellar Tsunami.

Organic successes include winning Greenman rising 2022 which led to playing the main stage that year, self- recording and releasing their debut EP and debut album ‘FEE FI FO FUM,’ released June 2024. The band have amassed over 40,000 streams and sold over 400 vinyl’s, been featured as Huw Stephens artist of the week and consistently playing busy & sold out shows across the UK.

Dactyl Terra have supported the likes of The Stranglers, Buzzcocks, TEKE::TEKE, Japanese Television, Pulled Apart by Horses, Deja Vega, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, CVC and Sonic Jesus.

Combining elements of rock, jazz and electronic music into a sound that defies genres and creates a constant innovating soundscape, Hexcut have stood out as one of Bristol’s top live outfits throughout the last few years.

Drawing influences from the likes of Gogo Penguin to High Contrast and even Deftones it’s hard not be encapsulated by their sound and be left wanting more. Their style pushes them into many different corners of music giving them a very unique sound and resulting them sharing stages with the likes of LITE, Blank Banshee and Mildlife, as well as gaining slots at major
festivals such as Boomtown and ArcTanGent.
