MEET YOUR ‘GAL’ HOSTS!!
Kathika is a vocal powerhouse and lyrical snake charmer, her onstage persona both terrifies and ignites energy in people of all ages which has led her to perform all over the world.
Fronting the band Slamboree, she has headlined festivals in Panama and Australia, stages at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Shindig Weekender, Bestival, Shambala, Kendal Calling, Beatherder and just about every corner of the UK.
Her solo work has her chameleonic vocal on projects with the mighty Na**lm Death, dub legends Zion Train, artists such as Born on Road, AC 13, Too Many T’s, Dr Syntax & Pete Cannon and breakbeat award winning DJ and producer Lady Waks to name but a few!
She is currently working on her debut solo EP ‘TATERS’ due out 2026 produced and written with Angus Malcolm aka Bear Twists with whom she frequently writes and performs. The drum and bass due ‘Rua Tui’ often with Kathika on the mic have been playing shows and festivals all around the UK and have had several releases out such as ‘Lighters Up’, ‘Cali Soul’ and ‘Banshee’ with Maddy V, Abi Nyxx and Maria.
Kathika is an avid contributor to the community and charity events running a successful International Women’s Day charity event at The Old Stillage and helping run the 3 day, 85 band event, the ‘Easton Punk Festival’ this year. She is a promoter and puts on regular nights at pubs in Easton as well.
