In 2015 and 2019 my dad, Graham Steward (who you may also know as Grant,) took part in the epic French long distance cycle ride Paris-Brest-Paris Randonneur. He has a long standing love of long-distance cycling and it is not unusual for him to spend his weekends off work cycling around Dorset and Devon.
This time around however, he has a mission: to raise as much money as possible for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Recently, the incredible impact of this charity has been shown to us as a family, having helped our relatives stay close to their child as they received life saving treatment in a specialist hospital in London.
This ride is something he will enjoy challenging himself with and it is made so much more meaningful this year with the aim to raise money for such an important charity. He is also aiming to do all 1,200 kilometers in 50 hours or less!
In order to raise as much money as possible, we would like people to share this as widely as possible. Links to Graham’s blog post from 2019 as well as details of Paris-Brest-Paris and the Ronald McDonald House Charity can be found below. I will also be sharing regular updates of his progress as he takes part in the ride in August on this page.
