Thank you runners for a brilliant weekend at Stanmer Park. Congratulations to our winner George Rickwood with 33 loops and Eilish Dawson the assist. Emily Torode returned and came third again, all three were incredible to watch, We have lots of professional photos on our website of the event. Thank you for all of the supporters who came down to cheer the runners on. Were getting ready to head up to Manchester soon. Thank you to all my volunteers as well. Best wishes. Lorraine 😁

Race bibs are in. This year we are looking forward to working with Eightmile Timing, who are kindly going to join us at the event. We are proud to team up with Solace Performance, runners will receive Solace branded t-shirt, tote bag and water bottle as well as some Solace hydration products. Many thanks to Solace for supporting our community. Lets go!!!!!!!!!

🆕 We’re absolutely buzzing to officially welcome a brand new Backyard Ultra to the calendar: Wirral Backyard Ultra!

🏃 Saturday 25th July 2026
📍 Wirral Country Park – right around the corner from Liverpool and an incredible new setting for the Backyard format with beautiful sea views along the trails.

🎟️ Tickets go live on tomorrow, New Year’s Day, at 12pm (midday) via our website (link in bio).

🏃‍♂️ Three events, one format: run 4 miles on the hour, every hour… until only one remains.

Brighton Backyard Ultra – 9th May
Manchester Backyard Ultra – 13th June
London Backyard Ultra – 29th August
