Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s taking place across Bridgwater for a vibrant weekend celebrating culture, creativity, and community:

๐Ÿ“ Angel Place SEED Pop-Up / MingleCafe

A selection of short and feature-length films exploring displacement, migration, belonging, and community.

๐ŸŽญ Saturday 20 June โ€“ Cultural Day
๐Ÿ•š 11:00โ€“17:00
๐Ÿ“ Blake Gardens (next to Bridgwater Library)

A full day of live performances, community stalls, and free food tasting.
Featuring Dawn from HK, Bridgwater Belles, Lianne Vessier, Quantock Sea Shanty Crew, Guitar & Bass, Devid Piazza, Strummers of Stogursey, Latisha Dance & Aidan.

You've gotta be here for our UNMISSABLE HEADLINE ACT JERO11!

JERO11 (ใ‚ธใ‚งใƒญๅไธ€) is a UK-based guitarist and shamisen (ไธ‰ๅ‘ณ็ทš) player that performs heavy metal mixed with traditional Japanese instruments or wagakki (ๅ’Œๆฅฝๅ™จ). His original works are inspired by the Hirajลshi scale (ๅนณ่ชฟๅญ) a tuning adapted by Yatsuhashi Kengyล from the shamisen to the 13 string koto (็ฎ), which JERO translates to the guitar. JERO plays his own heavy metal shamisen style using a his home-made electric shamisen. JERO11 wants to promote traditional Japanese music through his original works and rock covers of anime, vocaloid & video game soundtrack.
