The Urdd Eisteddfod is coming to Bridgend county in 2017. Coity and Litchard area have been challenged to raise a significant amount of money towards hosting this exciting event. The Committee

What is the Urdd? The Urdd organisation creates opportunities for both fluent Welsh speakers and Welsh learners to undertake exciting activities through the medium of Welsh. The Urdd Eisteddfod is the largest festival in Europe and attracts competitors and their families from all areas of Wales. The week long festival taking place between 29 May - 3 June 2017 will be held in Bridgend county giving local children the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of competitions.
