*I use paypal as a very simple ticketing system. There are no paper tickets and you don't need to print anything out or bring anything with you. When you buy online paypal sends me your name and the number of tickets which I'll have on a list at the door - easy!

Hello all,

Some of you may have already seen the news elsewhere, but after 3 years of operating as 'Bridge Music Agency' I have decided to call it a day. It has been great at times, but with the success of Midnight Skyracer this summer I have been unable to keep on top of touring in several bands as well as being booking agent for all of them and others. The number of gigs I've managed to book this year have unfortunately taken a hit as a result so it is time to move on.

So, moving forward, I'm very excited that Ant Miles and Jo Elkington at Fancourt Music will be taking on all the bands that my sister, Charlotte, and I play in, which were the bulk of this agency. Ant and Jo are so much more organised and efficient than I could ever be, so I know this is going to be a far better arrangement for all those bands!

It's just two weeks until we welcome Honey Dewdrops at the West Barn - still plenty of tickets available, click through to the event for those and more details. I can't wait!

In other news it's time to announce the next guests, probably my favourite UK based band playing on the bluegrass circuit, The Often Herd on the 17th of April.

As ever, tickets will go on sale the morning after the previous event (so 1st of Feb) but will be available at a discounted price of £11.50 at the previous gig, so come along to The Honey Dewdrops AND The Often Herd - not only get a great deal, but you get two wonderful nights of acoustic music in a beautiful setting!

A new album and a tour for Cardboard Fox

Announcing TOPSPIN, the new album from Cardboard Fox, out in June 2018.

Our second album has just gone off to the printers – hooray! It’s a little behind schedule so we’re pushing the official release date to the summer, but we’re starting our ‘pre-launch’ tour tomorrow. Depending on when they arrive, you’ll be able to pre-order or buy an extra early copy of the album at all of these gigs!

Today marks the start of Cardboard Fox's November tour. It's Colchester tonight and they'll be debuting some new songs ready to go into the studio in January.

Also, Midnight Skyracer launched a kickstarter campaign at the weekend. It reached the target in an incredible 48 hours, but will still keep running until the 3rd of December. Any extra funds raised will be put into making videos, further song writing sessions etc.
