Formerly known as Revelation 2000 and King Revelation, Apex Hi-Fi are a Reggae & Dub soundsystem with over 26 years of history. A diverse, community-run soundsystem made up of men and women from mixed backgrounds, they’re renowned for uplifting vibrations “for the people, by the people”, powered by a custom-built rig delivering heavyweight bass and crystal-clear dubwise selections.

We’re really sorry, but due to circumstances beyond our control, our Carnival Warmup Outdoor Party – Reggae at The Rose & Crown, originally planned for today (Saturday 29th August), has been rescheduled by two weeks.

The Six Six proudly presents Tuggawar & The Warr, a night where dancehall, hip-hop and rock collide. Led by the visionary Tuggawar, The Warr deliver high-voltage performances that blend reggae roots with modern urban grit. Expect genre-bending songs, compelling stage presence, and an infectious live energy that redefines the boundaries of contemporary music.

Joining the bill, Jay-D brings his raw, relatable lyricism and tireless work ethic to the stage, offering a distinctive rap style that complements The Warr’s explosive sound. Returning favourites Stortford Dub Club will round out the evening, with Jah Macka on the controls and Arch providing live vocal dub and conscious selectors’ choices for a deep, communal session.

This is a night for fans of bold, hybrid sounds and uplifting live gatherings. Come ready for powerful performances and a celebratory atmosphere at The Six Six.
