It’s two weeks already since ‘‘BerkoRun - Berkhamsted Half Marathon & 5 Mile Fun Run’.

Here are the winners of the Fundraising Competition -

Berkhamsted Rotary Club donate a prize of £150 to the winning Fundraiser’s fundraising page, or directly in favour of their specified charity, to the winner of the individual and the team categories. The links to their fundraising pages will give you more information.

It’s already one week since ‘BerkoRun - Berkhamsted Half Marathon & 5 Mile Fun Run’.

As a charity ourselves, Berkhamsted Rotary couldn’t put on ‘BerkoRun’ without our event sponsors.

As well as their generous donations, Williams & Yates organised the Bag Drop tent, Machins Solicitors provided us with the goody bags and Berkhamsted School gave us the use of their facilities at Kitchener’s Field, next to the cricket club.

So, thank you to all our sponsors - Williams and Yates, Machins Solicitors, One Stop Healthcare, Maylims and Acorn Pharmacy for supporting our event and the charities we're raising funds for.

Finally, a big thank you to Berkhamsted Cricket Club for giving over their grounds and facilities for us to use as the ‘BerkoRun’ venue during the build up and on the day of the race.

Like our marshals, volunteers and supporters, without our sponsors and the Cricket Club, we would not be able to put on ‘BerkoRun.

We would like to say thank you to all the marshals of the 2026 ‘BerkoRun - Berkhamsted Half Marathon and Fun Run’. Their efforts contributed greatly to a safe event for runners and spectators.

2000 runners took part and there were many spectators all along the course.

The race adjudicator from the English Athletics Association inspected the race and toured the course. He commented on the notable presence of marshals along the course and that they were clearly taking charge of their road junctions.

We would also like to thank the volunteers from Berkhamsted Rotary, Berkhamsted Bulbourne Inner Wheel, Berkhamsted School and CCF, Berkhamsted Scouts, Chesham ATC, Hemel Hempstead Rotary Club and St John Ambulance.

Like our sponsors, without marshals and volunteers, we would not be able to put on ‘BerkoRun’. Thank you.
