Day 2 of the 2026 Ballyscullion Park Book Festival Day was filled with really interesting talks from AI in medicine with Dr Charlotte Blease to the Bog Body discovered in the peat bogs of Lough Beg with Thomas McErlean. There were sessions on crime writing, poetry readings, memoirs and the shipping forecast as well as the children’s festival events 📚

The festival buzzed with energy from start to finish, featuring a packed programme of inspiring talks, thought-provoking discussions and enthusiastic audience participation.

We were so delighted to have Rebecca from Abandoned N.I. at the book festival last weekend. Her talk with Thomas McErlean was absolutely fascinating and a highlight for attendees.
