Baslow BootBash An annual 14 and 26 mile walk/run through the beautiful scenery of the Peak District National Park It took place for the first time in the summer of 2005.

Baslow BootBash is a 14 or 26 mile walk or run which winds its way through the beautiful scenery of the Peak District National Park. Following its success on that occasion, it has now become an annual event. The Baslow Boot Bash raises funds for Baslow Choir, helping it to use professional singers and musicians to enhance its performances. The 26 mile route is in the White Peak of Derbyshire with

views of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall and the beautiful scenery of the Derbyshire Dales. Starting in the village of Baslow and wandering through Chatsworth Park, Edensor, Over Haddon, Sheldon, Monsal Dale, Cressbrook Dale, Foolow, Eyam, Froggatt and Calver, and then returning to Baslow. The second route is 14 miles which adjoins the 26 mile route as far as the first checkpoint and then heads towards Bakewell via the Monsal trail before heading north to Rowland and Longstone edge. The route then heads east and then south to rejoin the 26 mile route before the final two miles into Baslow and the finish. The entry fee includes:
Confirmation of your place via email (where provided) or a telephone call/text message. Pie and peas and cups of tea at the finish. There are options available when booking to choose from vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. Badges and certificates for all finishers
Transport to finish for entrants who retire
A copy of the results and event report sent to you
