To Celebrate UK Bike Week We'll be hosting 3 amazing "Come and try it" BMX EVENTS at venues across the Ards & North Down Council Area!

These events will see us deliver beginner level BMX coaching Workshops at:
1) Ards Blaire Mayne Pump Track - Tuesday 9th June
2) Portavogie Skatepark - Wednesday 10th June
3) Killinchy Pump Track - Thursday 11th June

These events will run 6-8pm and we'll have 8 slots available every 30 minutes!

So if you or your child are interested in some BMX tuition ahead of buying a new BMX or using your new BMX, JUMP ON THIS 😝

Brilliant night of fun and skill development at Comber Skatepark. Huge thanks to our BMX coach Mikey for his invaluable knowledge and enthusiasm to inspire these great youngsters.
Shout out to the council for their forward thinking approach to allowing youth to access new and exciting sports and activities at new facilities like these skateparks 👏👏

✨ About the SparkHer Series ✨

This spring and summer, we’re creating more opportunities for women and girls to get active, feel safe, build confidence and connect with each other in our parks and shared spaces.

From March to June, come along and try something new, meet new people and be part of a supportive, welcoming atmosphere 💜

All events are free and funded by the NI Executive Office.

🚲 Park Pedals – build skills and confidence on two wheels
🌆 Twilight Walks – friendly group walks to get active and feel good outdoors
🌿 Tai Chi in the Park – relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature.
🛹 Teen Girls on Wheels – fun, energising sessions to get moving and try BMX, skating and more
🧘‍♀️ Yoga on the Beach – stretch, breathe, and enjoy the calming seaside
💪 Pilates in the Park – strengthen your core, improve posture, and feel energised. These sessions are designed for all abilities – whether you’re starting your journey, returning to activity, or simply looking for something enjoyable and social.
