How has SU***DE, DRUG ADDICTION and MENTAL HEALTH affected your family over the years? Just take a minute and have a think??

How many times have you wasted a tenner???.... and thought " i could of done something better with that"

I am doing a Parachute Jump in June 2024 to raise funds for CAD (Cleaner and Dryer)
We have all been affected by Su***de, Mental Health and Addictions. If not us then a member of our family which in turn has affected US ALL !!
Cleaner and Dryer (CAD) was set up in September 2023 in response to the large increase in su***de in the Greater Manchester area. A team was set up of volunteer staff from professional backgrounds in fitness, health, wellbeing and addiction recovery.
CAD uses the power of 2 different sessions every night.
The first session is a 40 minute boxercise and cardio circuit to get the endorphins released in the brain to create a feel good factor which is embraced by a "Team Spirit" on the foundation of a brotherhood and sisterhood in both groups.
The second session is a "social circle" for 40 minutes where the "glove" is passed around where 3 questions are asked and answered in a carousel mode.
These sessions have already impacted and improved the lives of over 70 men and women from Greater Manchester in our first 7 months. CAD is now expanding into Eccles at Eccles Boxing School on March 22nd.
The centre in Eccles will duplicate the success in Manchester and help men and women from the area change their circles and in doing so change their lives! FACT!!!!
In 2024 CAD will become registered as a CIC and we hope to grow from strength to strength by helping Men and Women across the North West to combat not just mental health but lonliness, confidence, anxiety, depression and other issues.
Boxing and Fitness is the cure mixed with integrating a new social circle that changes lives.

For those who know me on a personal level and also members of the CAD Team Staff, you will know how passionate we are about helping people and giving light to people in DARKNESS.

Su***de, Depression, Anxiety, Loneliness, Bereavement and Mental Health affects us all.

In 6 Months CAD has 72 men and 35 women participating in a FREE project that is not only changing lives, but changing many outcomes for families which makes the community a better place.
CAD uses Boxercise, Yoga and physical exercise to ignite positive endorphins in our team before the ending session in a powerful social circle.
This Circle session works on a carousel basis where a boxing glove goes around the circle asking 3 questions (1 at a time)

* How has your week been ?
* Anything to get off your chest?
* Share one positive from your week.

It creates new social circles where people inspire each other to CHANGE their lives and it works!
"Pain Is The Mother Of All Change"

We are opening a new camp in Eccles Boxing School on Friday 22nd March after the huge success at our Manchester Camp.
Our womens camp is thriving and is on Monday nights and ran on a volunteers basis by our amazing ladies team.

We are now looking at raising £3000.00 to sustain these 3 camps for a year at the gyms we use.

If we get 300 donations of just £10 we can run CAD in Eccles and Manchester for the next 12 months.

COOPSJUMPFORCAD is a parachute jump I am doing with staff in June 2024 to raise funds and promote CAD and what we are about. (everyone who knows me knows I hate heights)
We know Facebook is plastered with appeals, but we know these issues affect us all as families and people.

We know times are tough, and you may see more bad stories of people taking their own lives than you do the silent success stories we are achieving.

I can assure you someone you know will be benefitting from CAD.

Be assured CAD has a staff leadership team, treasurer and council. Not one penny is spent unless it is sustained by this council & leadership team.

I know you see these appeals every single day, but I ask all my friends who have been, or had family affected by the following to please help us sustain this project so we can expand across the North West.

Depression
Su***de
Addiction Recovery
Alcoholism
Loneliness
Anxiety
Bereavement
Domestic Abuse
Confidence

These funds will provide us in the gyms that we kindly occupy for minimul cost, but over a year this adds up.
£3000 will help us run the 3 camps for a year and support the people who matter most.
We just need 300 people across the North West to donate £10 each.

Another new camp opens in Eccles on Friday the 22nd March. All our camps are FREE due to the help and sacrifice of many, but we need to help the projects sustainability as we are outgrowing and need to expand to accomadate new people walking in the doors.

Unfortunately the marathon match has had to be cancelled. We're gutted and surprised the teams of Manchester and beyond havent supported this.
A one off event to raise money for the families of Ukraine. When we did it 5 years ago we had to turn teams away and raised an amazing amount of £44,000. This year with over 8 weeks planning and one of the worst humanitarian problems Europe has ever seen there has only been 22 teams from U7 to open age sign up. On thursday when the committee met we decided if we didnt get 40 by today then we would have to cancel it to which we have had to do. Some good people have put a lot of time into this but it hasnt got any where near the support we would have expected. We would like to say thank you to those have put in there support and interest and for items donated IE Baby clothes, raffle prizes will still all be donated to the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain.
Entry fees which have already been sent to me will be given back to you.
Once again we're sorry this has had to happen but we can't do this without the support of the community.
