Thursday night rally in the beautiful sunshine! ☀️🐴 A huge thank you to our coach Dossie for putting our riders and ponies through their paces with some great jump training. A special thanks as well to all our wonderful helpers for their support on the ground — we couldn’t do it without you! Such a lovely evening of learning, jumping and fun! 💪🏽✨

Regionals Round up

Last weekend saw a group of our qualified members head off to Auchlishie Eventing to represent our club at the Regional Championship in eventing.

A huge thanks goes out to the organisers and volunteers who made this event possible and huge congratulations to everyone who participated and helped make it fun along the way.

In the 70 class, Robyn placed 3rd in her section and had a superb time while Jenny finished 12th and was delighted with her day.

Lucy stormed round the 70 plus section and finished in 10th with a clear xc on her lovely new steed.

Lizzie and Rose both tackled the up to height 80 classes and finished with rosettes in their sections. Lizzie placed 6th and Rose 9th.

A super weekend to round out the school holidays with some pony time!

Our club have had a fantastic weekend at the Area Qualifiers at Auchlishie. There’s been lots of learning and some great memories made with friends having super fun with their wonderful ponies.

Huge thanks must go to all the organisers, supporters and volunteers who ensure these events run. It’s a mammoth effort and we appreciate every part of it! Until next time ☺️

Camp 2026 marks the end of an incredible chapter for Glenrothes Pony Club.

It’s difficult to put into words just how much Alison has given to our branch over the years. Being a District Commissioner isn’t just about organising rallies or competitions—it’s about giving up countless evenings, weekends, and holidays, often behind the scenes, to make sure every member has the very best opportunities.

Alison, your dedication, commitment and passion for Glenrothes Pony Club have shaped the experiences of so many young riders. You’ve encouraged beginners taking their very first steps, supported members as they’ve progressed through the years, celebrated their successes, picked them up after disappointments, and always believed in them.

You’ve created memories that will stay with our members and their families for a lifetime. From rallies and camps to competitions, achievements and friendships, your hard work has been at the heart of it all. Many people only see the finished event, but few realise the hours of planning, organising and commitment that happen long before the day arrives.

On behalf of every member, parent, volunteer and instructor—past and present—thank you. Thank you for your leadership, your kindness, your patience and your unwavering commitment to our Pony Club family. Your contribution has been truly remarkable, and Glenrothes Pony Club is stronger because of everything you have done.

As one chapter closes, another begins. We are delighted to welcome Viv Wilson as our new District Commissioner. Viv, we know your passion, enthusiasm and commitment to our branch will help lead Glenrothes Pony Club into an exciting future, and we wish you every success as you take on this role.

Alison, although you’re handing over the reins today, the legacy you’ve built will continue for many years to come. We hope you can now enjoy watching the branch thrive, knowing that you have played such an important part in making it what it is today.
