Returning to the Aberdour Festival, Scotland's original summer cyclo-cross bonanza delivers fast racing, festival vibes, cowbells, close battles and a full day of action on and off the bike.

Your entry includes:
• Dual Slalom to decide your gridding
• Two qualifier races + Grand Finale
• Kids races & Family Relay
• Post-race ceilidh & complimentary BBQ
• Festival atmosphere all day long

We're delighted to have Vittoria UK supporting the event, while Genesis Bikes and Ridgeback Bikes will be on site with demo bikes available throughout the day, including a dedicated kids' demo area.

We've also heard rumours that a few very big names from the world of cyclo-cross could be making an appearance... more on that soon.

We are delighted to announce this year’s Festival King, Queen and their two Attendants!

Applications are now OPEN to volunteer for the Aberdour Festival Crew 2026!

🎪Festival dates: Friday 31st July – Sunday 9th August (but we’d love your help from Thursday 30th for set-up).
🎪Crew training: Saturday 20th June, for a couple of hours – start time to be confirmed.

Being part of the Crew is a fantastic experience – it can be hard work, but there’s also loads of fun, you’ll make new friends, and it’s great to add to your CV. Plus, it’s a brilliant way to support our community.

This year we’ll have a Marquee at Silver Sands again and have a packed programme of events both there and throughout the village that we’ll need your help to run!

Well… after watching the London Marathon today, who else is suddenly convinced they’re basically an elite runner? 😂

Sub-2 hour marathons, incredible crowds, emotional finishes… and now you’re thinking: “Yeah… I could do that.”

Good news - you absolutely can (well… maybe not sub-2 just yet ).

No world records required, just a bit of effort and maybe some questionable pacing decisions halfway through. Whether you’re chasing a PB, running with friends, or just soaking up the atmosphere, it’s your chance to be part of something special right here at home.

Following a sell-out success at last year’s Aberdour Festival, Arthur Lloyd returns with his fascinating and much-praised talk exploring the stories behind Aberdour’s street names. With many disappointed residents unable to secure tickets first time round, this is your chance to catch the presentation everyone was talking about.
Discover the hidden history, surprising origins and intriguing connections behind the streets we walk every day.
And there’s more! With the new Cala development at Hillside adding eight new streets to the village, Fife Council has now confirmed their names, and Arthur will reveal the background and reasoning behind each one.
An engaging, informative and thoroughly entertaining evening - not to be missed!
