We have secure space at the manoir for motorbikes. Vire is a very safe town generally, but the manoir has a locked basement with security cameras. We’d love to host more bikers for this exciting 80th anniversary. There will be absolutely loads going on over the week. Let us know if you’re interested in joining our ride outs.

Welcome to the D Day 80 Ride Out Page....

The Normandy area is rich in history, places to explore, sights, locations and out and out great roads to travel and enjoy.

During this year the 80th Anniversary of the D Day landings and battles in the region there is an immense amount of additional events and activities.

Having worked in the area on various projects over the last five years we decided we would share our knowledge and routes with like minded bikers.

If you've never biked Normandy you're in for a treat.

We can assist with accommodation just let us know if you're looking for camping, BnB or Hotel.

The plan is to meet up in the morning, at D Day 80 Ride Out HQ, share some provided breakfast then set off on a different route each day at steady pace no racing and with pre arranged stops that are completely optional.

So if you can be available, would like to join a Ride Out rather than going solo drop us a line and we can tell you more.

Kind regards,

The D Day 80 Ride Out Team
