Honored to Be Recognized at the First African University Theatre Festival in Algeria

I was deeply honored to be recognized during the first edition of the African University Theatre Festival in Algeria, an inspiring cultural event that brought together talented young artists from across the African continent.

The festival demonstrated the strategic importance of university theatre as a powerful platform for cultural exchange, artistic development, and meaningful dialogue among African youth. The remarkable creativity, energy, and interaction of the participating students reflected the richness and diversity of African culture and confirmed the vital role of the arts in building bridges between nations.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to His Excellency Professor Kamel Baddari, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, widely known in Algeria as “the Students’ Friend,” for his support of this important initiative and his continued commitment to empowering university students and nurturing their creativity.

My sincere thanks also go to the festival management, led by Mr. Ezzedine Rekiba, Festival Commissioner, for the tremendous efforts made to deliver such a successful and promising first edition.

I am equally grateful to all members of the artistic and organizing committees, particularly the wonderful young team whose dedication, professionalism, and enthusiasm were evident throughout the festival.

Finally, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all my artist friends in Algeria for their generous hospitality, affection, and appreciation. Algeria will always hold a special place in my heart.

I truly believe that this festival has the potential to become one of Africa’s most influential platforms for university theatre and youth creativity.

​تُوجت جمهورية الموزمبيق بالجائزة الكبرى (أحسن عرض متكامل) في فعاليات المهرجان، وذلك عن العرض المسرحي المبهر "نيو وثلاث لوحات من نهاية العالم".

وذلك من خلال عرض "أمواج" للمعهد العالي لفنون العرض الذي افتك:
جائزة ​أحسن دور رجالي الطالب حميد بن سالي
جائزة أحسن دور نسائي الطالبة نسيبة عطوط
جائزة أحسن إخراج المخرج عيسى جقاطي

السنغال تقتنص جائزة لجنة التحكيم: 🇸🇳

▪️​تُوّجت جمهورية السنغال بجائزة لجنة التحكيم عن العرض المسرحي المميز "بذرة الخلاف"، المقدم من طرف المدرسة الوطنية للفنون ومهن الثقافة، فهنيئاً للوفد السنغالي ولكافة القائمين على هذا العمل الفني.
