The is pleased to unveil the official list of the 19 award categories that will be celebrated during the third edition of the Jazair Awards.

As the Academy continues to evolve and refine its vision, two major category adjustments have been introduced this year in a move towards greater diversity and inclusivity:
• The categories Best Picture and Best International Feature Film have been merged into a single, unified category: Best Feature Film, which will honor 10 nominees from around the world, regardless of country of origin.
• Similarly, the categories Best Short Film and Best International Short Film have been merged into Best Live Action Short, also featuring 10 nominees, to better reflect the global landscape of short-form storytelling.

These changes mark a significant step in the Academy’s ongoing mission to champion artistic excellence while opening doors to a broader range of voices and perspectives.
