The biggest student-organized festival in Scandinavia with 5.000+ guests, 3 stages and 8+ bars. Den første årsfest blev holdt i 1976.

Her var kun et telt, der dannede ramme om en Ruc-revy og lidt festligholdelse for indbudte og æresdoktorer. Siden er Årsfesten blevet til en endagsfestival for alle RUC's studerende med 4 musikscener, sjove events og happenings, og huser i gennemsnit 7000 mennesker. I år løber festen af stablen fredag d. 16. september, så sæt kryds i kalenderen for det bliver en fest du ikke vil gå glip af! LIMITED PARKING AREAS NEXT WEEK:

We would recommend that students and employees take the train to RUC in the week leading up to the annual party, so that those who need a car the most have the opportunity to do so. We are slowly starting to block more parking spaces during the week.

Monday 14/09: P4 will be closed off (Gravel parking lot).

Tuesday 15/09: P4 will remain closed off (Gravel parking lot).

Wednesday 16/09: Large parts of the parking lot will be closed off on Wednesday. (Blue Zones)

Thursday 17/09: The entire parking area will be closed off. (Red Zone)

Friday 18/09: The entire parking area will be closed off as well as P2.

We are pleased to announce the final artist of Årsfesten 2026: Smøgmænd 🚬⭐️🫎

Masked hip hop duo Smøgmænd is expanding the sounds of danish rap! With their occult lyrics and creative beats, Smøgmænd depicts the dark and hard life of being a “Smøgmand”. Their triumphant performance at Roskilde Festival blew Eos away, cementing their status as one of the largest cult hip hop act in the country! Expect a performance that breaks with conventions and invites you into a universe of masks, mysticism and musical magic. This is not just a concert – it is an event consisting of occult rap, lyrical madness and a true cult atmosphere. We are so excited to announce Smøgmænd are closing this year's annual party!

We are pleased to introduce the next artist in this years line-up: Mumle 🌟🫎

Over the summer, Mumle has played at more than 40 Danish festivals, where she has commanded the stages with hits such as “Det Modsatte”, “Hvor Solen Ik’ Skinner”, “Fire Uger” and “Hele Vejen”. In 2026, she has a completely sold-out Danish tour where she visits twelve cities, as well as the biggest headline concert of her career in Falkonersalen and Aarhus Congress Center. Mumle is the little voice we all have inside us, which is neither polite, thoughtful nor sweet, but which is just, first and foremost, brutally honest. And that perfectly describes the music Mumle makes. It is humorous, it is genuine, it is extremely relatable, and it is actually very much about self-discovery and contains a good dose of self-irony.

Situationsfornærmelse plays fast paced political punkrock with humor and irony. You should expect distorted guitars, hard hitting songs, quirky lyrics and sweaty performers. So if you like fast paced energetic music you definitely don't want to miss this perfomance!

We are pleased to announce the next artist of this years line-up: Smag På Dig Selv 🎷🫎

A drummer and two saxophonists. That's the recipe for one of the wildest live bands in the Nordics. Since their debut in 2018, Smag På Dig Selv (English Translation: Taste yourself) have challenged and expanded the boundaries of genre understanding with their uncompromising fusion of acoustic techno, raw punk energy and 90s-inspired dance.
The band's boundary-pushing energy and strong stage presence have cemented them as one of Denmark's top live acts, emerging from the underground and into the mainstream.

Would you like to have a fun evening and meet other RUC students?
One of our bars is looking for bartenders for Årsfesten on the 18th of September.

You will get a bartending course as well as an invitation to our exclusive volunteer party after Årsfesten. You will be working from 15:30-02:00, and you can listen to music and drink for free the entire evening.

Get your friends tickets today! 🎟️🎟️

Tickets are now live, so check your RUC mail inbox and find your ticket link. RUC students do not need a personal ticket, as you only need to show your student ID at the entrance (digital or physical). But through the link you can buy up to five guest tickets, so you can bring all your friends.❤️

Just remember to ask all your friends before ordering as you cannot return later and add additional friend tickets.

Our systems often get overloaded on ticket release day because thousands of students try to access them at once. This means it may take a couple of hours before you receive your ticket invitation email, and you might also experience issues loading the website. If you run into any problems, feel free to write to us here on social media. Just keep in mind that we’re only a handful of volunteer students, we do our best to answer everyone quickly, but it may take a little while before we get back to you.
