Festivalen bringer en særlig musikalske oplevelse til København... en ramme hvor publikum kan møde både lokale og internationale, kunstnere som arbejder med latinamerikansk musik. Den Internationale Musikfestivalen Sonamos Latinoamerica bringer en særlig musikalske oplevelse til København og område. Vi skaber en ramme hvor publikum kan møde både lokale og internationale, kunstnere som arbejder med traditionelle såvel som moderne
latinamerikansk musik. Vores vision er at bryde med en forsimplet og snæver forestilling om, hvad latinamerikansk musik er, og præsentere musik som bevæger sig uden for de mainstream kanaler eller genrer. Festivalen er en del af et internationalt netværk af musikere som understøtter inspiration og udveksling musikerne imellem, og nærer der igennem den latinamerikanske folkemusik.
