GM Robert Rabiega joins the ACO coaching team on Crete!
The well-known Berlin Grandmaster Robert Rabiega will be on site from 1 to 10 October as a trainer at the ACO Senior World Championship (50+) on Crete. Together with grandmasters Daniel King, Zigurd Lanka, and Spyridon Skembris, he will analyse the participants' games, give lectures, and hold a simultaneous exhibition.
Rabiega became German champion in classical chess in 2002. He has also won the German Blitz Chess Championship four times and the German Rapid Chess Championship three times. He works as a professional chess coach in Berlin.
The tournament is limited to 150 participants, and more than 90 registrations have already been received. For the venue, the 5-star all-inclusive Fodele Beach Resort, there is a discount of EUR 200 per person for registrations made by 31 March.
