Day 5: Today we will fly a 300km FAI Triangle - "we call it a Klassiker" 😉
Waypoints are St. Blasien in the southern Black Forest, Sigmaringen on the Swabian Alb, and back to the "Langenbrand" in the northern Black Forest. Follow the game on

SGP Day 3: We expect good weahter and hopefully no showers😀
Day 1 and 2 was a little bit difficult to fly because lots of showers in the black forest. But now, high pressure is coming and the rest of the week should be stable. Today the competitors will also leave the black forest towards the "Odenwald". So they will be away from possible showers in the south. We are looking forward to an exciting day!

Good morning, sorry for the delay in news, but we were very busy yesterday with task setting and managing the flight + watching the Football final with our french guests, so we can give an update only today.

The task yesterday was very challenging, we got the start going at 12:45 local time, but we had already showers at that time. Since the last 3 pilots in tow, did not catch a thermal, they had to be launched again. By that time, the path to the south was blocked by big showers, so we kept the start line closed and modified the the task various times ending up with the minimum task of 100,44 km, Start line was opened at 15:48, when we had several showers in the area. 2 Pilots were lucky to cpmplete the task, local pilot from neighboring club winning the day with a pure glider Ventus 2 CX without engine, followed by Tilo Holighaus in the new Ventus 3 T. Congratulation
