Tomorrow, Prolight + Sound Guangzhou opens its doors for its 24th edition – bringing together the global entertainment technology and pro AV industry in one of the world’s leading marketplaces for innovation and exchange.
From 28 – 31 May 2026, the show will take place across 220,000 sqm at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, with around 2,200 exhibitors showcasing the latest developments in professional audio, lighting, stage technology and AV solutions.
Visitors can expect a newly refined layout, focused product sectors and an even more connected experience across four dynamic days of business, technology and inspiration.

Additionally, we're excited to introduce the brand new Prolight + Sound Bangkok show in September (30.9 – 2.10.2026) focused on entertainment & music industry!

*** Prolight + Sound will not continue in Frankfurt – brand will remain active internationally ***

After many conversations and careful reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision that Prolight + Sound will no longer take place in Frankfurt.
The demand for a separate Prolight + Sound themed area within the upcoming Light+Building 2026 was unfortunately not high enough to successfully realise it in a valuable manner for exhibitors and visitors alike.
While this chapter comes to a close, the brand continues internationally – with the premiere of Prolight + Sound Bangkok in 2026 and the growing Prolight + Sound Guangzhou, which welcomed over 2,200 exhibitors and 110,000 visitors this year.
Some of our exhibitors will now present their solutions directly within Light + Building 2026, reaching target groups such as lighting designers, architects, and building technology professionals.
To all who have accompanied us on this journey: we sincerely thank you for your trust, your commitment, and your energy. 🙏
